Dünya Okyanus ve Denizleri Uluslararası Sempozyumu Monaco’da 20/21 Haziran 2019 tarihlerinde gerçekleştirildi

Dear colliques,Distiguised members of Scientific Committee.

There is a prominent saying that ''All well ends well'', We have successfully carried out our International Symposium together with our partners PiriReis University, International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO), and Monaco Oceonographic Museum and thanks to your efforts and dedicated works it ended very well. As Scientific Committee, we are proud as being able to fulfill our misson, because I believe high level of participation and the quality and quantity of the papers submitted during the symposium were the utmost level, hopely when we finnished the proceedings of the symposium, we will be able to reach to whole world, thus making sure that we will accomplish to urge researchers and accedemitions to do more research, which is our ultimate goal. We need to do more research find out unknowns and unpublished facts in the history  to plan more sound future.

Within this context, I would like to thank Rector of PiriReis University Prof.Oral Erdoğan, from IHO, Mr. Mathias Jones Adm Mustafa Iptes, from Oceonographic Museum Dr. Nadia Quanis, Name Father of the Symposium Adm. Isık Biren, Mrs. Hülya Biren, our sponsors Chamber of Shipping Mr. Tamer Kıran, TİNA Foundation Mr. Oğuz Aydemir, Mr Bulent Ozükan for his dedicated supports and  of course at first place, Prince of Monaco Prince Albert II, and the other officialls who supported by participating in the opening ceremony, our distinquised members of Scientific Committee, here I should mention  and extend our condolonces for Prof. Maria Pia Pedani, member of our Scientific Committee, who past away just before the start of Symposium. I also thank to all key note and other speakers and chair persons who contributed by presenting paper and chaired the relevant sessions.

As the President of Scientific Committee I am proud of you all and hoping to work with you again in near future, maybe in another historical event.
